Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the ExportGPT browser extension and related websites, including exportgpt.org and exportanything.org (collectively, the “Services”), operated by exportAnything LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By installing or using ExportGPT or accessing our websites, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.
1. Description of the Services
ExportGPT is a browser extension that provides tools to capture and export content from supported websites, such as ChatGPT and Sora, into various formats (including but not limited to PDF, Markdown, HTML, JSON, ZIP, and media files). Our websites provide information, documentation, and support related to ExportGPT and other offerings from exportAnything LLC.
2. Eligibility
You may use the Services only if you are at least 13 years of age and are capable of forming a binding contract with exportAnything LLC under applicable law. If you use the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
3. License and permitted use
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:
- Install and use the ExportGPT extension on devices you own or control; and
- Access and use our websites for your personal or internal business purposes.
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the extension where prohibited by law.
- Bypass or circumvent any security measures of the Services.
- Use the Services to violate any applicable law, regulation, or terms of use of third-party platforms (such as OpenAI’s terms for ChatGPT or Sora).
- Use the Services in a way that harms, interferes with, or degrades the experience of other users.
4. Your content and responsibility
When you use ExportGPT, any content you choose to export (including chats, prompts, media, and other materials) may contain information governed by the terms and policies of the underlying platform (for example, OpenAI’s ChatGPT). You are solely responsible for:
- Ensuring that your use of the Services complies with all applicable third-party terms.
- Ensuring that you have the right to export, store, or reuse any content you capture.
- Securing and managing any exported files on your own devices or storage systems.
5. Third-party platforms
ExportGPT is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by OpenAI or any other platform. Your use of any third-party platforms (such as ChatGPT or Sora) remains subject to their own terms of use and privacy policies.
6. Modifications to the Services
We may modify, update, or discontinue portions of the Services at any time, including adding or removing features or changing how the extension interacts with supported websites. We are not obligated to maintain backward compatibility with older versions.
7. No warranties
The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or compatible with every browser, platform, or future change to third-party websites.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event shall exportAnything LLC, its owners, employees, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Services.
In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims relating to the Services exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us (if any) for the specific Service giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless exportAnything LLC and its affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:
- Your use of the Services.
- Your violation of these Terms.
- Your violation of any third-party rights, including any rights related to content you export or process.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Services after changes have been posted constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Mexico, United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
